Traditional Jerk Chicken
1/4 cup Smoke & Spice Authentic Jamaican Jerk Sauce (add more or less as preferred)
2 lbs of your favorite chicken parts (wings, legs, thighs, etc.)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Preparation and Cooking Directions:
Season chicken with salt and black pepper.
Marinate chicken in jerk sauce for at least 2 hours (the longer, the better, overnight is best).
Preheat oven to 375°F and arrange chicken in a shallow baking dish.
Bake chicken until internal temperature reaches 165°F, basting chicken every 10 minutes with leftover marinade.
Turn chicken during cooking so all sides brown evenly.
For more authentic jerk flavor, grill the chicken over an outdoor charcoal or wood fire.
Makes 5-7 servings.
